Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured after a collision with a car in Farnborough Leisure Centre car park.

Shortly before 8pm on January 31, the 23-year-old woman was walking across the car park, when a hatchback car drove through the car park at speed.

The vehicle hit her on her right leg and she then rolled across the bonnet of the car. Fortunately the woman was not seriously injured, but the driver of the vehicle did not stop.

It is not known what make or model the car was, it is described only as a small red hatchback, with a man driving and a man in the front passenger seat.

PC Michael Pugh said: “This could have been a very serious incident and the victim was lucky not to receive any serious injuries.

“Although it was dark at the time, it’s believed there were several members of the public around at the time, including one man who stopped to help the victim.

“If this was you or you saw the incident, please contact me.”
