Police appeal for witnesses after three houses burgled in Kingsclere
Police are appealing for witnesses after three houses were burgled on the same day in Kingsclere.
Between 4pm and 8pm on Friday, December 9, the homes in Newbury Road were burgled. In each case, the offender(s) smashed a rear window in order to gain acces to the house.
Several items were stolen, including laptop computers, jewellery, cameras and a passport.
PC Craig Ferguson said: “This type of offence is a rare occurrence within the village, however, I would remind homeowners to be vigilant and ensure they leave their homes secure with all valuable items locked away and out of sight.
“Due to the location of these incidents, people travelling home from work may have seen something suspicious.”
