Police are appealing for witnesses after two thefts in Bramshott on Sunday, August 29.
Sometime between 1.30am and 10am a stable in Rectory Lane was broken into and a wheelbarrow and horse food was stolen.
A second theft then happened in Bramshoot Meadows when a garden ornament was stolen from the garden of an address.
The ornament is mushroom shaped and made of staddle stone and is worth between £400 and £600.
PC Louise Parkes, of the Alton Targeted Patrol Team, said: “These thefts were unusual for Bramshott and the statue in particular is a very unique item.
“The village is small and in a rural area and we would ask anyone who has seen any suspicious vehicles or any other suspicious activity to contact us as soon as possible.”
