Police are appealing for information after a collision in which a motorcyclist was killed.
The crash happened shortly before 2.30pm yesterday (Feb10) on the A272 Winchester Road, West Meon and involved a BMW motorcycle and a vehicle recovery truck.
The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man from Gosport, died at the scene.
The truck driver, a 40-year-old man from Midhurst, was uninjured.
The road was closed between West Meon Hut and Privet for six hours while accident investigators examined the scene and awaited recovery for the vehicles. It was re-opened at 8:30pm.
