Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Whitchurch overnight between Monday, January 4 and Tuesday, January 5.
Sometime between 11pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday an address in The Knowlings was broken into after an implement was put through the letterbox to open the front door.
A television and a handbag were then stolen from the addrsss.
PC Paula Deery, of the Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “Burglaries like this are rare in Whitchurch and we want to hear from anyone with information about it.
“We would remind all our residents to ensure their front doors are double locked so they cannot be easily opened by putting an instrument through the letterbox and pulling down the handle.”
Can you help?
