Police in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses after a community centre was burgled in Kempshott during the weekend.
Sometime overnight between Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23 the Old Down Community Centre in Kempshott Lane was broken into.
Computer equipment and a cashbox were stolen from the address but were later recovered nearby.
PC Rob Letch, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “A considerable amount of damage has been caused to this community facility during the break in.
“Property inside including security doors and lockers were also vandalised during the incident.
“We would ask anyone who may know who was responsible for this burglary to contact us as soon as possible.”
