Police appeal for witnesses after assault near to Aldershot train station

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault near to Aldershot train station on Tuesday, January 6.

At around 8.30am a 14-year-old girl was waiting for a bus outside the train station.

She was approached by a group of two young women and two young men who chased her over the bridge into East Station Road where she fell over.

They caught her up and then kicked her while she was lying on the floor before running off towards Manor Park.

The first woman is described as: 

  • Asian
  • Around 18 years old
  • Dark braided hair
  • Wearing black glasses, a blue jacket, black boots, a green hat and black glasses.

The second woman is described as: 

  • White• Long, brown hair
  • Around 18 years old
  • Wearing black skinny jeans, a black leather jacket with tassels on the sleeves and trainers.

The first man is described as: 

  • White
  • Around 19 years old
  • Wearing a grey jacket, grey jeans and trainers

The second man is described as: 

  • White
  • Around 19 years old
  • Wearing light blue jeans and a black vest

PC Simon Monga, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This incident happened during the morning when a number of people would have been making their way to work and school.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who saw the girl being chased over the bridge.”
