The head-on collision between a blue Renault Clio and a blue Ford Fiesta happened at about 4.20pm on December 17 last year, in West Lane, Hayling Island.

Officers are keen to speak to the driver of a Ford Galaxy car who stopped at the scene to establish what they saw of the crash and to provide any additional information they may have.

The two elderly occupants of the Fiesta sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.

They have ongoing medical conditions and are continuing to receive treatment.
