Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Silchester overnight between Wednesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 12.
Between 8pm on Wednesday and 7.20am on Thursday seven stables and a barn were broken into at an address in Clappers Lane.
Various garden tools including leaf blowers, angle grinders and a chainsaw were then stolen along with a quad bike.
The total value of the items is around £10,000.
PC Stephan West, of the Whitchurch Targeted Patrol Team, said: “A large number of items were stolen during this burglary and the thieves would have needed to use a large vehicle to transport them.
“We want to hear from anyone who has seen any suspicious activity in the area particularly any unusual 4x4 vehicles.
“In this case the locks on the stables were cut and we would encourage residents to consider purchasing alarms and ensure that any existing alarms or other security devices are in working order.”
