The youth had a toolbox and a hammer in Tool Boxhis possession, which he was unable to account for.

A 16-year-old boy from Landport was arrested and has been released on police bail until September 4.

Officers are now releasing photographs of the hammer and toolbox and making an appeal to the public.

Detective Constable Colin McGregor said, “We are appealing for any other witnesses of these two youths in or around Haslemere Road or Highland Terrace in the early hours of Friday morning, or to anyone who may recognise the toolbox or hammer. If you think you may know where they have come from please contact police as soon as possible.”
