Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a home in Winchester.It happened at a property in Northbrook Avenue between 6 and 9am onTuesday November 15.
Laptop computers, cigarettes and cash were taken.Officers are particularly interested to hear from anyone in the St Giles Hill and surrounding areas of Winchester who may have had unusual callers recently or noticed anything suspicious in the area.
PC Emma Purser who is investigating said: “We’d advise homeowners to ensure their properties are secure, especially in the lead up to the Christmas period.
“This should also be done even when someone is at home. Burglars will take any chance they get-so do ensure your doors and windows are locked.”
