Police are asking witnesses to come forward after a house was burgled in Andover Road, Portsmouth.
Between 6.15pm on Saturday August 9 and 12pm on Sunday, August 10, the house was left secure but empty. On Sunday the house was found to have been broken into when a neighbour called round.
It is thought the offender or offenders forced entry through a door at the rear of the house.
A number of items of jewellery were taken, worth around £1000 in total, and all of sentimental value to the owners.
PC Alex Saccoccio said, “I would appeal for anyone who may have heard or seen anything to get in touch. This incident took place when the owners were away and so if you noticed any activity during the times stated I would urge you to contact police as soon as possible.”
Can you help?
