Police appeal for information after burglary in Bitterne

Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a house in Wynter Road, Bitterne.

A sometime between 4pm on Friday, September 2 and 4pm on Saturday, September 3, a Dell Inspiron laptop and £80 in coins have been stolen.

The money had been kept in a money box, which was later found broken at the end of the garden.

The intruder forced entry through a hatch in the attic, which had been secured after some building works on the property.
