Police in Portsmouth are appealing to the public for help after an assault.
On Tuesday March 3, at around 1.20am, a man was punched in the face at The Walkabout Bar in Guildhall Walk. The 25 year old from Wales suffered a fractured eye socket and was treated in hospital.
Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have vital information about the assault.
He is described as:
• White
• In his mid 20s
• Short dark hair
• Wearing a black shirt and jeans
PC Sean Hopkinson who is investigating said: “This was a nasty assault which has resulted in the man needing to take time off from work to recover from his injuries.
“He’d gone out for an evening with his friends in the city's main nightclub area, but woke up in hospital needing treatment. He can’t remember what happened and therefore we would like to hear from anyone who saw the assault."
“Additionally, if you recognise the man in the photograph please get in touch with police.”
