Police are appealing for help in tracing the owner of a cement mixer that was recovered by officers late on Friday, February 12.

Around midnight, two youths were seen walking along Havant Road in the Drayton area. One was pushing a cement mixer and the other was carrying two bar stools.

Officers spoke to the pair and seized the items, and are now looking to identify the owners.

PC Paul Shutler said, “This is a very rare occurrence and I would ask that anyone who has information that may assist in locating the owner of these items contacts me. I would also remind business owners to remain vigilant and ensure all tools and materials are kept secure and locked away during the night.”

Two youths, both aged 15, from Portsmouth, have been arrested on suspicion of theft and bailed.

Can you help?
