Officers are appealing for information that may identify a driver or car that failed to stop after a crash with another car on East Hill, Lymington.
At 7.21pm on Tuesday, January 17, a collision occurred between a blue Rover and another car, which had drifted onto the wrong side of the road. The other car failed to stop at the scene.
Inside the Rover were four women, none of whom were injured.
PC Andrew Summers said, “The driver of the Rover suffered substantial damage to her car and was left shaken after the incident. It is disgraceful that someone would drive away from a crash with no regard for the other driver or the damage caused. If you know of a car that has recent damage to the drivers side of the vehicle with no apparent explanation in the Lymington area please contact the police. I’d appreciate any information that may lead to identifying the other driver.”
