Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Portsmouth.
At some time between 9pm and 9.30pm on Friday, January 8 the 22-year-old victim and his girlfriend were walking along Fyning Street, Portsmouth, when they were approached by the main offender and one of the other offenders.
The main offender asked the man if he had any money. The victim told him he had some cash and the main offender then produced a knife. The victim then handed over £20 in cash, the offender thanked him and then left the area.
There were three offenders involved in this incident and police have descriptions of them.
The main offender is described as:
• White
• Around 6ft 2ins to 6ft 3ins
• Medium build
• In his early 20s
• Wearing a long dark duffle coat with the hood up, and dark coloured trousers
The second man is described as:
• White
• Around 5ft 5ins to 5ft 6ins
• Aged around 15 or 16
• Wearing a dark coloured baseball cap with a red logo on the front, and a black Adidas tracksuit top and bottoms with white stripes down the arms.
The third man is described as:
• Black
• Around 6ft 6ins to 6ft 7ins
• Slim build
• Aged 20 to 30
• Wearing dark coloured clothing
Detective Constable Daisy Sharma, said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who has any information to contact us at the earliest opportunity.”
