Police are appealing for information after several thousand pounds worth of copper cable was stolen from a warehouse in Hamilton Way, New Milton.
A hole was made in the wall of the warehouse sometime between 11pm on Monday, June 6 and 3am on Tuesday, June 7 to gain entry.
Approximately £20,000 worth of copper cabling was stolen from inside the warehouse.
PC Dan Buck of Lymington police station said: “This is a large amount of cable and the offender(s) would have certainly used a vehicle to transport the stolen property.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, noticed suspicious activity or vehicles in the area, or is offered copper cable for sale in suspicious circumstances to get in touch.”
