Police in Portsmouth are appealing for a bike owner to come forward, after the cycle was recovered having been stolen from Dovercourt Road, Cosham.

Between 7pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday, November 25, the cycle was stolen from Dovercourt Road, where it had been left padlocked to a lamppost.

Police received information that the stolen cycle had been taken, and then abandoned in Cosham High Street, and have now recovered it.

The bike is a pale blue, and is similar to a mountain bike.

PC Steve Webber said, “We are appealing for the owner of this bike to contact us so that we can return it to them. They had not reported the theft of the bike, but we are keen that they should get it back as soon as possible.”

Can you help?
