Police appeal after serious crash in Waterlooville

Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was seriously injured following a crash in a residential area of Waterlooville.

The 78-year-old, from Waterlooville, was driving a silver Peugeot 206 from Esher Grove across Sunnymead Drive at about 3.50pm on Thursday, July 29.

The car was then in collision with a Ford Ka, being driven by a 19-year-old man from Waterlooville, which was travelling along Sunnymead Drive towards Milton Road.

ra Hospital in Portsmouth for treatment.

Her condition is said to be improving.


The driver of the Ka and his passenger were not injured.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision or either of the vehicles prior to the crash.
