Between 11pm and 11.20pm on Saturday, October 31, a 30-year-old man was walking in Arnaud Close when he was approached by a group of four youths.

The man sustained cuts and bruises, and required stitches to his left ear.
The group consisted of four young men and a woman. Other than the main offender, the group are described as white, one had light coloured hair, another wore an orange long sleeved top and the woman was around 18 years old.
The man has given a more detailed description of the main offender:
- White
- Aged between 20 and 23 years old
- 5ft 7ins tall
- Slim build
- Wearing a light grey hooded top
Detective Constable Rachael Kensett said, “This was a vicious attack on a man simply walking home alone. The man instinctively covered his head and face and so was unable to properly see all of the group involved, however residents nearby or others in the area may have. If you think you can help please contact the police.”
Can you help?
