Police appeal after indecent incident in Petersfield

Police are appealing for information after an indecent incident in Petersfield on Monday, November 16.

At around 3pm a 39-year-old woman was walking towards a pathway that leads to Hylton Road.

As she reached the pathway she noticed a man exposing himself and committing an indecent act.

The man is described as: 

  • White
  • Aged around 40
  • Thin build
  • Dark brown, wavy, shoulder length hair
  • Scruffy appearance

PC Neil Croutear, of the Alton Targeted Patrol Team, said: “We want to hear from anyone who might have any information about the man in the descripition.

“Were you in the area at the time? Did you see anything suspicious? If you did, please contact us as soon as possible.

“We would remind residents to report any suspicious activity to police.”
