Police are appealing for witnesses after a man flashed his genitalia at a passing woman in Alec Rose Lane, Portsmouth.

At 9.10pm on Saturday, September 6, a 21-year-old local woman was walking along the bridge from the Portsmouth courts towards Guildhall Square when a man approached her from behind.

The man said, “Come here, darling”, and exposed himself to the woman. The woman looked away, and when she turned back he had gone.

The man is described as:

  • White
  • 5ft 10ins tall
  • Around 30 years old
  • Clean shaven
  • Short blonde hair, worn in a spiky style
  • Wearing a white polo shirt and blue jeans

PC Stephen Webber said, “This was obviously a very distressing incident for the woman involved, and we want to trace this man as quickly as we can. If anyone saw him or recognises the description, I would ask them to contact police.”

Can you help?
