Police appeal after house in burgled in Portsmouth whilst occupants on holiday

Officers investigating a burglary are making an appeal for information, after a house was entered whilst the occupants were away on holiday.

At sometime between December 12 and January 7, a house in Winter Road, Southsea was entered by unknown offenders. There was no sign of forced entry.

A large number of items were stolen from the house, as listed below:

  • Three laptops; two Dell and one HP
  • A Samsung 32inch flat screen television
  • Four bottles of aftershave
  • A set of cufflinks
  • Around 20 bottles of wine
  • Around 25 various CDs and DVDs
  • A Sony Playstation 3
  • A Sony PSP

PC James Garrett said, “This is a burglary where the offenders have taken a great number of items with a high value. Have you heard anything about this incident or been offered goods like these for sale? If you have any information please contact the police as soon as possible.”
