Police in Portsmouth are appealing for information after a distinctive high value watch was stolen during a burglary at an address in Hampshire Terrace at around 2.30pm on Thursday, August 13.
While the homeowner, a 26-year-old woman, was in another room entry was gained to the bedroom and items were stolen. The woman heard a noise but the offender(s) had left when she checked the room.
A Nokia N73 mobile phone, £50 cash and a Barthelay watch worth around £7,000 were stolen. The watch has a black leather strap and a square mother of pearl face.
PC Dave Calvert of the Burglary Investigation team said: “This watch is quite distinctive. If anyone is offered this watch for sale or knows someone who has recently acquired one please contact us.”
