Police are appealing for information after a burglary at the home of an elderly man in Wellbrook Close, Chandlers Ford.
At 11.30am on Monday, September 5, the 89-year-old man was gardening in his front garden. When he returned to the house he found a young man inside.
The intruder pushed the man out of the way and ran off. Three antique gold rings and £500 cash were stolen during the incident.
The offender is described as:
- White
- Aged in his teens
- Around 5ft 8ins tall
- Wearing sandy coloured clothing and a cap pulled low over his face
