Officers are appealing for information after a burglary at a property in Solent Avenue, Lymington.
Just after midnight on Saturday, October 8, two separate windows were forced open to allow access.
The doors to the rooms entered were locked, preventing access to any other areas of the house. The alarm then sounded, and the offenders fled.
A clock was taken from the wall in one of the room entered and is thought to be worth around £2000; a clock that has a wooden surround and a bronze eagle below it.
PC Rebecca Hodge said, “There have been a number of burglaries in the area in recent weeks and we are appealing for people’s help in identifying the offenders. Did you see or hear anything, or do you know who may be responsible? Do you know of stolen property being offered for sale anywhere locally? The smallest piece of information may prove vital, and I’d urge people to contact police immediately if they can help.”
