Police are appealing for witnesses after a fire in Fleet on Tuesday, May 5.
At around 11.30pm a fire was started at Lynchford Tyres Ltd in Kings Road. The fire damaged the external doors and the inside of the building.
Officers are treating the incident as arson.
PC Robert Cattell, of the Yateley Targeted Patrol Team, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident.
“If it was not for the intervention of Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service this fire would have been much worse.
“Fortunately they were able to bring the blaze under control and nobody was injured.
“Starting fires maliciously is extremely dangerous and poses a serious risk to innocent members of the public as well as those people stupid enough to start them.
“We would ask anyone with information or anyone who saw anything suspicious in Kings Road at the time to contact police as soon as possible.”
