Operation Grey – Two men seriously injured following Whitchurch crash
Police are appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle collision on Newbruy Road, Whitchurch, in which two men were seriously injured.
The crash happened on the B3051 at about 10.15am today (Monday, August 2).
A silver Audi A4 was travelling south on Newbury Road and collided with a blue Volkswagen Passat, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
Both drivers sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the Audi - a 55-year-old man from Overton – was taken to North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke.
The driver of the Volkswagen – a 31-year-old man from Bournemouth –was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
