Operation Gibside – appeal for witnesses to fatal crash

Police are appealing for information following a road traffic incident in which a 54-year-old man died.

The single vehicle collision happened at 9.23pm yesterday (June9) on the B3349, Mill Lane, Riseley, when the green Land Rover Defender left the carriageway into woodland.

The driver, from Stratfield Saye, was pronounced dead at the scene.
