Operation Finster – Police appeal for witnesses after woman dies in Bishops Waltham crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 61-year-old woman died following a crash in Bishops Waltham on Sunday, August 1.
The woman, from Waltham Chase, was driving a light blue Peugeot 206 along the B3035 between Bishops Waltham and Corhampton, near to a property called Hazelholt Lodge, when the crash happened at about 6.20pm.
It is believed the woman lost control of the vehicle whilst performing an overtaking manoeuvre before hitting a tree and rolling the car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw this vehicle shortly before the crash or who saw the crash itself.
