Operation Dunwich – appeal for witnesses to a serious collision on B3078

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in which a 17-year-old girl was left with life threatening injuries.

The crash occurred at 11.22pm yesterday (June9) as a Vauxhall Corsa carrying three people travelled from Sandy Balls holiday park on B3078 towards Fordingbridge.

The driver, a 19-year-old man from Fordingbridge, lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to roll.

The front seat passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Fordingbridge sustained life threatening injuries in the collision. She was taken to Salisbury District Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

The rear seat passenger, a 17-year-old boy, also from Fordingbridge, received serious spinal injuries. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he remains today.
