A man has been charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Eversley.

Kieran Harper, aged 27, from Milton Keynes, has been charged with causing death by careless driving.

This relates to a collision which occurred at about 11.10 am on Wednesday, May 19, near to the junction with the Bramshill Quarry entrance, near Warren Heath, Eversley.

A dark grey Audi TT was travelling north towards Eversley, when it collided with a black 7.5 tonne Mercedes lorry and a green Ford Mondeo estate.

The lorry, driven by a 40-year-old man from Reading, and the Mondeo, driven by Jennifer Allen, 58, from Wokingham, were both travelling in the opposite direction.

Mrs Allen sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital where she subsequently died.

The lorry driver was uninjured.

The driver of the Audi received minor injuries and was taken to Frimley Park Hospital.

The road was closed for nearly six hours to allow officers from the Road Death Investigation Team to carry out a full investigation.
