Operation Celesta – Warsash crash victim named

Police have named the horse rider who died following a fatal crash in Warsash on Monday, as Linda Harding.

Mrs Harding, 59, from Ravenswood, Fareham had been riding her horse Flumpy along a bridleway at around 4.15pm when it bolted into Fleet End Road and collided with a passing Vauxhall Corsa.

Mrs Harding was thrown from the horse and sustained serious head injuries. She died at the scene.
