Operation Camlet – Man dies following crash in Aldershot
Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a serious crash in Aldershot.
The 37-year-old man was riding a black Yamaha motorbike along Thornhill Road shortly after 4.30pm on Tuesday, September 21, when he collided with the rear of a white Iveco van.
The man was thrown from his motorbike and then was struck by a black Suzuki motorbike travelling in the opposite direction.
The rider of the Yamaha sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.
The rider of the Suzuki, a 51-year-old man from Aldershot, and the driver of the van, a 29-year-old man also from Aldershot, were not injured.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit at Whitchurch are keen to speak to anyone who saw any of the vehicles before the crash or the crash itself.
