Operation Asquith – five charged following Hampshire Constabulary drugs operation

Five men have been charged by police investigating a suspected drug dealing network originating in Manchester and operating across the South Coast.

They were arrested last Thursday following operations across the country by Hampshire Constabulary’s Serious Organised Crime unit. 

  • Dale Carroll, 22, Tuxford Walk, Greater Manchester, conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin 
  • Jake Newson, 19, Mount Gould Road, Plymouth, conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin, possessing an imitation firearm 
  • Bonar Kekula, 21, Chevington Gardens, Bolton, conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin 
  • Sonny Elms, 19, Manordale Walk, Collyhurst, Greater Manchester, conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin 
  • Robert Guilfoyle, 20, Satblys Dolcoath, Camborne, Cornwall, conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin

The men appeared before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Saturday, September 17, and were remanded in custody to appear before Portsmouth Crown Court on January 3, 2012.

A 23-year-old woman from Sheffield and a 26-year-old woman from Southampton remain on bail until October 19.
