Police have arrested two men in relation to a hit-and-run incident in which a 19-year-old man died.
The collision happened on the unlit A287 between Crondall and the start of the Odiham bypass during heavy rain, between 2.30am and 3.30am on Sunday (September 11).
The victim, a pedestrian, was found seriously injured at the side of the road by a passer-by. It is believed that he was struck by a car which continued towards Odiham without stopping.
He was taken to North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke, where he later died from his injuries.
A 19-year-old man from Alton and a 19-year-old man from Hook have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. They remain in custody at this time.
Police are still appealing to anyone who has any information in relation to this incident to come forward.
