Police in Southampton say a missing 30-year-old woman and her 5-year-old son have turned up safe and well. Corrine Gabrielle Batola and her son Mathieu Batola had not been seen since earlier this month. Corrine, usually known by her middle name of Gabrielle, was last seen on January 7.
She originates from the Congo and a review of her immigration status has been taking place. She was known to be depressed about her situation.
Following the publicity and search for them Gabrielle turned up at Southampton Central Police Station yesterday, Sunday, January 18, She was reunited with her son who officers discovered had been looked after by friends.
