Men detained following serious assault outside Portsmouth pub

Three men have been arrested following an incident inside the Walkabout public house in Guildhall Square, Portsmouth.

At 11.05pm on Tuesday, May 5, police attended the pub, following reports of an altercation.  A 20-year-old man was found with serious injuries.

He was treated at the scene and taken by ambulance to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, where he was found to have a serious head injury.

Three men, two aged 21 and one aged 22, remain in custody.
