Man who died from gun shot wound in Southampton named

Police are now able to name the man who died from a bullet wound at Rockstone Place in Southampton at around 4.45pm on Tuesday, February 10.
He was William Foxton from Canton Street in Southampton who was aged 65. A post mortem examination showed he died from a single gun shot to the head.
Mr Foxton had previously served in the army and more recently worked as a defence contractor in Afghanistan.
A pistol was recovered at the scene. Police do not believe the death to be suspicious.
