Man killed in collision with bus named

Police have named the man who died yesterday following a collision with a bus on Lodge Road, Southampton.

Stuart Gary Allen, 46, from Southampton, was driving a green Daewoo Espero when he was in collision with the front offside of a Blue Star double-decker bus shortly before 8am.

He died at the scene. A 54-year-old man, who was travelling in the front passenger seat of the car, remains at Southampton General Hospital today in a critical but stable condition.
