Man charged with attempted robbery in Portsmouth

A man has been charged after an incident on Friday, September 25 in the Somerset Road area of Portsmouth.
Police received reports of a man carrying a knife, who had assaulted one person and gotten into another’s car.
Benjamin Hall, 25, from Purrett Road in Plumstead, London, was arrested in relation to this incident and charged with attempted robbery, possessing an offensive weapon and three counts of affray.
He appeared before South East Hants Magistrates court on Saturday, September 26.
