Man charged following aggravated burglary in Portsmouth

A man has been charged following an aggravated burglary Portsmouth.
On Sunday, December 14, a man forced entry to a house in Kilmiston Close, Portsmouth. During the incident the homeowner was assaulted and was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital where he was treated for head injuries. He remains in hospital.
Stuart Kelly, 39, from Hawthorn Crescent, Cosham, has been charged with aggravated burglary and will appear at South East Hampshire Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday, December 16).
