Hampshire police issue witness appeal following death of cyclist

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died at Brimpton Common, on the Hampshire/Berkshire border on Thursday June 3.

At around 5.30pm a group of cyclists left the Pineapple public house in Brimpton Common heading along Hockford Lane towards Ashford Hill. One of the riders fell from his bike. 

The 60 year old, from Tadley stained serious head injuries and was taken to the North Hampshire Hospital where he later died.

Roads policing officers at Whitchurch are appealing for any witnesses who saw the incident or either cyclists prior to the incident to contact them.
