Detectives in Southampton are appealing for information after a number of high value jackets were stolen from Go Outdoors in Millbrook in the early hours of this morning, Sunday October 9.

Police were called just after 4am to the store on Third Avenue, however CCTV shows that the offenders had been in the area since around 3:30am. They forced entry to the car park, and drove on to the site in a blue Ford Escort and a silver Subaru with bonnet vents and black wheels. At one point the Subaru reversed into the Escort, which will have left each vehicle damaged.

Offenders entered the store and stole a large number of high value outdoor jackets. They then drove away.

Detective Sergeant Stuart Barton said: “Has a blue Escort or silver Subaru with the damage described appeared in your neighbourhood this morning? If so, or if you’ve already been offered outdoor jackets for sale, we would be very keen to hear from you.”

Can you help?
