Further appeal for information about Aldershot armed robbery

At about 12.15pm on Wednesday, August 24, a Group 4 Securicor van was making a delivery of money to the cash machines at Tesco in Wellington Avenue, Aldershot.

The guards were approached by two men who both had their faces covered.

The guards were threatened by one of the men, who it is believed had a handgun.

He is described as:

  • White
  • Approx 5ft 8ins
  • Aged 25-30 years
  • Wearing dark jeans and dark top, a black balaclava with holes for eyes, nose, mouth and holding a black handgun.

The second man is described as:

  • White
  • Aged 25-30 years
  • Approx 6ft
  • Wearing a red and white motorbike helmet
  • Carrying a large material bag.

Both men then made off with a quantity of money, along the A325 towards Farnham, on a distinctive orange motorbike which is described as having a large fuel tank with stripes on the side. The bike was found later that day in a car park in Cavalry Court, Aldershot.
