Detectives in Basingstoke have released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to following two indecent assaults in Basingstoke.
The first incident happened shortly before 4pm on Wednesday, October 5.

A 17-year-old girl was walking from the town centre towards Sarum Hill when she noticed a man following her. The man spoke to her, made some lewd comments and grabbed her. Fortunately she managed to run away and was not injured.
The second incident happened shortly after 4pm on the same day when another 17-year-old girl was walking home from Basingstoke College of Technology.
She was walking along Worting Road, away from BCOT and towards Morrisons, when a man walked past her and looked at her. He then slowed to her pace, made some lewd comments and grabbed her. Fortunately she also managed to get away and was not injured.
Detectives believe it is the same man involved in both incidents. He is described as white, aged in his 50s, of a slim build with broad shoulders and had short grey/blond hair. He was wearing a grey top and blue jeans.
Detective Constable Natalie Stallworthy: “We would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man and who may have seen him around Basingstoke.
“These incidents were very frightening for the girls involved but fortunately they were not seriously harmed. People in Basingstoke should not be panicked by these incidents but I would like to remind people to think about their personal safety and report any suspicious incidents to the police immediately.”
