Detectives are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Basingstoke during the early hours of Sunday, March 7.
At around 3am a 24-year-old woman was stabbed at her home in St Michael’s Road.
She received injuries following the assault and was taken to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
Her condition is described as stable.
Detective Constable Katie Barry, of Basingstoke CID, said: “Although this incident happened during the early hours of the morning we want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious.
“We believe this was a targeted assault and not a random attack and we would ask anyone with information to contact us as soon as possible.”
