Detectives in Andover are appealing for witnesses following a burglary where Christmas presents were stolen.
Some time overnight between December 10 and December 11, while the occupant – a 27-year-old man – was asleep, offender(s) gained entry to the house in Furrow Way via an insecure window.
Christmas presents, a Clipper lighter and various Playstation games were stolen.
Detective Constable Luke Donovan said: “Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area? Do you know anything about this burglary? If so, please contact me with any information which might help with this investigation.”
Residents are also reminded to make sure their homes are secure at all times, this includes locking UPVC doors, not just lifting the handle, and making sure windows are closed and locked.
Det Con Donovan added: “You should also think about where you store your valuables and don’t leave them on show, especially Christmas presents at this time of year.”
