Detectives in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Winklebury on Saturday, June 13.
At around 1am a 19-year-old man was walking through an alleyway behind Harlech Close. As he walked he was approached by two men on a motorised scooter.
The men assaulted him and then stole his rucksack, mobile phone and £10 before driving off.
The victim was taken to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital with cuts and bruises to his face. Both attackers are described as white and aged between 18 and 19.
One was wearing a white hooded top and a crash helmet and the other was wearing a baseball cap.
Detective Constable Dan Leese, of Basingstoke CID, said: “This incident happened in the early hours of the morning and someone may have been disturbed by it.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw two men riding around on a motorised scooter in the area at the time.”
